Lantern Tree Books

Lantern Tree Books was a retail bookstore set in the charming beach-town of Carpinteria, CA.

Louis Force Torres opened Lantern Tree based on his belief that "Every town should have a bookstore." He took an empty Mexican restaurant on Main Street and restored it, building a bookstore, and then transforming it into a community center.

Though the physical location has been closed, Lantern Tree Books continues to operate as the online retailer for Polyverse Publishing Authors.
